The bakeries in Llubí are very different in style.
Forn i Pastisseria Gelabert, Carrer la Carretera, 61
Forn Ca’n Ramon, Carrer la Carretera, 49
If you prefer a bakery in Muro, we recommend. Forn Ca’n Segura, Pl. dels Abeuradors, 6
and in Inca, Forn Sant Francesc, Carrer de Sant Francesc, 126
As already mention in the supermarket recommendations, there are butcher’s and fish markets inside some supermarkets. Besides those, you can find specifically try:
Butcher’s
Cas Sereno (2 stores in Inca) They have great sobrassada, made the artesanal-natural way.
Fishmonger´s
Peix Can Mateu in Inca´s public market (Mercat d’Ínca), private underground parking lot.
Wines from Binissalem and maybe even visiting a bodega/winery there.
Herbes (digestive herbs liquor either sweet, mixed or dry, great after a big lunch and before siesta)
Rosa blanca beer
If you are into sodas, you can try Pinya (Mallorca’s “coke”, before Coca-Cola)
Ensaimada (spiral-shaped sweet pastry)
Almond ice cream (greater and “more mallorcan” when combined with ensaimada)
Panades
Sobrasada (sobrassada, cured sausage, ground pork, pepper, paprika and other spices) if you like it try also Butifarrons.
Snails with alioli sauce (we understand this is not for everyone)

Oil
Capers
The pool is great, but you may want to enjoy the open sea, the views, the trip, …
A good thing about staying in the heart of Mallorca is that you can go to any side of the island in a short trip.
Playa/Platja de Muro (20-30minutes away) probably the most beautiful beach in Mallorca, white sand, clear water. It is so long you can find your kind of beach along it, from the port town full of restaurants, or hotel area, usually with lots of parking, people and activities, to the natural park pine area surrounded by nature.
Playa/Platja de Son Serra de Marina / Sa Canova (just a bit further away that Playa de Muro, but worth it if you value nature and no buildings around) beautiful beach that is the coast line to a protected natural park. On the Son Serra side (west) you will find parking and restaurants.
A “straw” hat, specially recommend for hot sunny days.
Espardenyas (esparto sole shoes) and a senalla (esparto handbag) to blend with the locals and the tradition.
A foldable hand fan, essential for hot days where there is no fresh breeze.
Hike always with proper hiking footwear, also carry a bottle of water and in the summer avoid exercising at midday hours.
Muro’s church, lite at night and during the day you can see it from far away in the horizon where the sun rises.
Llubí’s windmills.
The Talayots just outside Llubí.
Llubi’s church square, spacially if it is lunch or dinner time with the family or friends.
Every town has is own annual festivities with a main day (coinciding with the town’s patron saint day or a holiday) where you’ll find usually some specific tradition for that town, all age activities, gastronomic sample shows, live music, concerts, party and dancing the main square, fireworks, outdoor suppers in the street, …
A walk to the train station, or by car if it’s a true rainy day. A quick train trip through the inner Mallorca, to Mallorca Outlet Fashion Centre (Festival park), an open comercial centre with great fashion brands, lots of mostly fast food restaurants and it’s own train station.
On literal rainy days or after a rainy day, specially nice places to visit are Fonts Ufanes (near Campanet, quite close to the villa) and Orient’s waterfalls (near Orient in the Tramuntana Range). Both are a phenomenon that only appear after rain.
Font Ufanes is a not busy circular easy circuit though an old Oak forest and a water spring source that appears directly from undergrown with sudden strength. Besides close to the circuit there is an old chapel and in a wonderful environment a lovely restaurant with beautiful views and the possibility of visiting the cavern that all together make the trip worth it even if there hasn’t been a rainy day.
You will find 2 postboxes in Llubí, less than 5min. away. They are big, yellow and easy to find.

Post office in Muro: Carrer dels Màrtirs, 10, Muro
